Nico Wills
Photography on SRA Research website is supplied by Nico Wills.
Nico Wills is a portrait, wildlife and travel photographer. Be it in the African wilderness with conservation groups, the heat of Afghanistan with the British Army, or the depths of the Royal Opera House with the Royal Ballet, Nico has a passion for getting that photo.
From snarling cheetah to shell shocked soldier. Platinum selling musician to arctic explorer. Encouraged from a young age by his father, Nico’s photography is all about a connection, an emotive response. That instantaneous capture of the story hidden just under the surface.
Based in London, Nico’s experience is wide ranging. After a degree in Zoology which took him as a conservation biologist to Africa he joined the British Army serving for eight years before leaving to pursue his love of photography.
Whilst predominantly a portrait, wildlife and travel photographer he has also regularly undertaken commissions for commercial marketing and product shots as well as a wide range of events. Happiest when behind a camera he is always open to new assignments and deepening his knowledge.
